Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Queensland WorkCover matters. Supported by experienced mentors, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of industries, workplace challenges and employment legislation while building a long-term specialist career.
A Role With Incredible Variety - No two days are ever the same.
You'll work across the full employee lifecycle, providing commercially focused advice that helps employers confidently manage their workplace obligations while continuing to expand your own technical expertise.
Your work will include:
- Providing Workplace Relations, Human Resources and Industrial Relations advice.
- Interpreting and applying the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Supporting employers with employee relations, disciplinary matters, misconduct, performance management, investigations and workplace conflict.
- Advising on leave entitlements, workplace policies, bullying, discrimination and harassment matters.
- Assisting employers with Queensland WorkCover, workers' compensation and return-to-work obligations.
- Researching employment legislation and developing practical workplace solutions.
- Preparing employer correspondence, workplace resources, guidance notes and fact sheets.
- Assisting with webinars, education programs and workplace training initiatives.
- Building trusted relationships through outstanding advisory service.
- Working alongside experienced Workplace Relations professionals on more complex matters while continually developing your capability.

You'll also bring:
- Qualifications (completed or nearing completion) in Human Resources, Employment Relations, Industrial Relations, Law, Business or similar.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving capability.
- The ability to interpret legislation and provide practical advice.
- Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation, initiative and attention to detail.
- A genuine desire to continue developing specialist Workplace Relations expertise.
