This candidate is a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer and Senior Project Manager with over 20 years in the industry, including 15 years within the Australian market. He presented with a confident and engaging style during his behavioural interview, demonstrating both technical depth and strong leadership capability through well-articulated and relevant examples.

He has led end-to-end delivery of complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, including Waste & Environmental Services, Mining, Utilities, Renewables, Public Infrastructure, and Engineering Consulting. His project portfolio includes managing large-scale efforts—most notably a $650 million surface package as part of a $1.2 billion project—where he oversaw 24 procurement packages, 30 direct reports in the PMO, and hundreds of on-site personnel, including the design and construction of core infrastructure such as rail, materials handling systems, and accommodation camps.

With strong capability in both office-based and site-based leadership, he described the importance of staying close to the action—attending toolbox and prestart meetings weekly to foster team cohesion, promote safety, and maintain visibility on project progress.
