Supporting schools, architects, builders and project stakeholders nationally, this organisation delivers furniture and learning environment solutions that help shape educational outcomes for future generations.

With significant growth opportunities across the education infrastructure sector, the business is investing in its tender capability and is seeking an experienced Tender Specialist to play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, managing submissions and supporting project success across multiple states.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Sales Manager and partnering closely with Business Development Managers across NSW, QLD, VIC and ACT, you will take ownership of the end-to-end tender process across major education and construction projects.

  • Monitor government, education and construction opportunities nationally
  • Identify projects early and maintain an accurate tender pipeline
  • Review specifications, drawings and schedules to determine suitable solutions
  • Prepare compliant, professional and commercially competitive submissions
  • Source and coordinate third-party products where required
  • Engage with architects, builders, procurement teams and project stakeholders
  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, Service Delivery and Product teams
  • Track tender outcomes, win rates and future opportunities
  • Support successful project handovers following award
What you will bring to this role?
  • Experience in tendering, bid coordination, specification sales or project submissions
  • Exposure to commercial furniture, fit-out, construction, building products or related industries
  • The ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications and schedules
  • Strong written communication and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of competitive tender environments
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Experience within education, furniture, fit-out or construction environments will be highly regarded.
What's in it for you?  Joining an organisation
  • Who is an established Australian manufacturer with a proud heritage
  • That enjoys a strong reputation for quality, innovation and sustainability
  • In a national role supporting major education projects
  • Who is providing you with the opportunity to influence tender success and business growth
  • Who encourages collaboration and has a supportive leadership team
  • Offering a genuine opportunity to help shape and evolve the function
  • Giving you exposure to architects, builders, government projects and major infrastructure opportunities
  • That is not only very stable, but in growth and has a significant national market presence
