Our Client is the fastest growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia.  We’re thrilled to partner with this Australian owned insurance giant who are looking for a Motor Technical Trainer based in Lidcombe, with travel to Alexandria & Moorebank
  
You will be part of the Technical Training Team, responsible for the delivery of technical training requirements of the assessing team to ensure that we develop market-leading assessor  capabilities in the design & application of Method based assessment processes and ensure successful achievement of the company’s corporate goals.  

  • This role requires you to utilise your experience and deliver high quality internal training. This will be achieved by efficiently integrating new motor assessors into the business that is crucial for organisational growth and operational strategy. This requires a structured and disciplined training schedule to uplift assessor capability.
  • Our Client is committed to providing you with the opportunity to further your personal / professional development with formal qualification  to a CERT IV Training & Assessment.
  • Deliver motor assessor training modules catering to the requirements of the trainees
  • Be a business SME in all the software & quoting systems eg AudaNet and Escribe whilst applying Assessing processes
  • Collect and analyse feedback from trainees and their managers, post-training, to refine and adjust the training programs as required, striving for continual improvement.
  • Providing detailed monthly reporting to the Assessing Team and leading/ driving action planning with the State teams, including supporting Assessors to develop or reach minimum performance standards
  • Provide on-going training support at locations or on-road ensuring that all employees, regardless of their location or experience level, have access to the training they need to perform their jobs effectively
  • Drive the correct repair method, providing insight internally & externally through Market Best Practice
  • Champion a culture of leadership excellence & changeability.
About You
  • Trade qualified as either a spray painter or panel beater
  • Experience as a Motor Assessor or Estimator in the insurance / repair industry
  • Training background or “Cert IV in Assessment and Training” (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the motor body repair industry including the relationship between the insurance industry and the repair sector
  • Experienced in quoting accident damaged vehicles
  • Exceptional customer service insight and delivery
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong planning and organisational ability
  • Computer literate with Word & Excel along with estimating platforms
