About the Role 
This role is effectively a mini State Manager position, with responsibility for managing major WA accounts and supporting one direct report. You will share responsibility for around 27 key sites, including: 

  • High-end retailers such as Hart & Co and Winning Group. 
  • Major chains including Harvey Norman and The Good Guys. 
  • Regional & metro select independents. 
The role combines hands-on account management with leadership and oversight, ensuring clarity of communication, execution of product rollouts, adherence to KPIs, and consistent delivery of business plans. You will be the senior point of contact for WA, representing the brand with professionalism and commercial acumen. 

Key Responsibilities  
  • Lead and mentor one BDM in WA, setting expectations, supporting development, and driving accountability. 
  • Manage relationships with top retail partners, from proprietors and state managers to in-store sales teams. 
  • Develop quarterly business plans for top 10 accounts and provide regular performance reviews. 
  • Deliver training, coaching and product demonstrations to increase retail staff capability and confidence. 
  • Ensure compliance with KPIs including sales, call cycle plans, training quotas, and POS standards. 
  • Monitor competitor activity, analyse sales data, and identify opportunities to lift performance. 
  • Support smooth new product rollouts, ensuring clear communication and flawless execution in stores. 
  • Limited travel (1–2 nights every couple of months) with autonomy to manage your own diary. 
What You Will Bring to the Role 
  • 5+ years’ sales, account management or business development experience (retail leadership or consumer goods background highly regarded). 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence at all levels. 
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and upskill teams, both internal staff and retail sales teams. 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent planning, reporting and time management skills. 
  • Resilience, problem-solving, and commercial acumen to balance targets with ROI. 
  • Comfort working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative national team.
