This position is tailored for a Senior Accountant with genuine commercial curiosity, leadership qualities, and the confidence to guide small business clients through complex growth decisions. You’ll be more than a financial interpreter – you’ll be a catalyst for client success.

As a Senior Business Advisor, you will assume a pivotal role in helping clients move from “self-employment” to genuine “business ownership”. Your portfolio will include ambitious SMEs seeking not just financial results, but clarity, direction, and lifestyle alignment. You will:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of business clients, building trust through deep and consistent engagement
- Lead monthly client advisory meetings focused on performance, profitability, and strategy
- Prepare and present quarterly financial and operational reports, identifying risks and opportunities
- Support clients with tax planning, compliance and structured financial advice
- Partner closely with an in-house Business Coach to deliver a coordinated, high-value client experience
- Actively contribute to internal improvement initiatives and team knowledge sharing
We are seeking an experienced advisor with the right mix of technical excellence, emotional intelligence and business instinct. You should be energised by client success and confident in your ability to influence outcomes. Key attributes include:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in Australian public practice
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Proven ability in business advisory or consulting
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
- High emotional intelligence, sound commercial judgement and a proactive mindset
- Genuine care for clients, team and community
