Quality Officer

Work type:  Full Time

Date posted:  19-Apr-2025

Location:  Shepparton - VIC

Industry: Healthcare & Medicine

Salary:

Lead innovation. Drive change. Build culture.
Work with a progressive, community-focused aged care provider in regional NSW.

About the Role
This isn’t just another Quality, Compliance & Training Officer role. It’s a chance to work shoulder-to-shoulder with a CEO who’s transparent, collaborative, and wants someone to truly own this function.

You’ll lead quality, compliance and training across an award-winning aged care facility with the chance to influence additional services like medical centres, childcare, and a retirement village. While aged care is the focus, your impact will be felt across the organisation.

This role is open to both clinical and non-clinical professionals. What matters most is that you bring energy, accountability, and a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

From the CEO:
“We’re open to outstanding candidates from both clinical and non-clinical backgrounds. If you’ve got the right mindset and experience, we want to talk to you.  We want someone who genuinely cares, who gets in and works well with others. This is a key role that needs energy, innovation, and someone who will run with it and make it their own.  You’ll work closely with me and be a voice at the table. If you’ve got ideas, let’s hear them.”

What You’ll Need:
• Experience in quality, compliance, governance or training – in aged care, health, NFP, education or another regulated environment
• Confidence conducting audits, implementing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement
• A natural communicator.  Capable of training and influencing people at all levels
• Strong cultural fit.  Collaborative, values-driven, and genuinely people-focused
• Comfortable being onsite full-time (with potential for 1-day hybrid flexibility)
• Cert IV in Training & Assessment is a plus, but not essential
• Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards is helpful – but if you bring the right mindset and willingness to learn, we’ll support you to get up to speed quickly.

Why You'll Love Working Here
You’ll be joining a progressive, community-focused aged care provider with a longstanding reputation for excellence in the Riverina region. Known for its welcoming culture and commitment to innovation, the organisation provides more than just aged care, it offers medical, retirement and community care services all under one roof, making a real impact across the region.

• Competitive Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 + super, depending on experience
• Not-for-profit benefits: Access generous salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay
• Strong leadership and support: Work closely with a hands-on CEO and experienced management team who genuinely support open communication and shared decision making
• Professional development: Opportunities to grow your career, with support for
ongoing learning and development
