As a result of their growth, they are now seeking to appoint 2 experienced Parts Interpreters to review motor vehicle repair quotes and source alternative & original parts that ensure alignment with the parts policy and therefore reduce the parts component of the repair cost.   To also work with the broader Assessing and Claims Teams to ensure the best cost and customer outcomes.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor various workflow platforms to receive Repairer quotes.
  • Review each quote to check for correctness of parts pricing, vehicle details and damage quoted consistency with the incident description
  • Seek opportunities in each quote to better the cost outcome by sourcing alternate suppliers
  • Adhere to the Parts Usage Policy to mitigate repair and replacement costs without affecting the safety, structural integrity or utility of the vehicle
  • Perform fair and reasonable assessments on glass claim quotes or invoices
  • Record potential savings for reporting purposes
  • Liaise with Repairers who send paper quotes to obtain their quotes via estimate instead
  • Assist the Assessing and Claims teams as necessary
  • Undertake relevant training as required to perform the role
  • Assist with paying Repairer invoices as necessary
  • Alignment of daily activities to achieve goals and KPI’s
  What you will bring to this role:
  • A detailed understanding of motor vehicle parts
  • Ideally experience as a parts procurer – able to leverage off your parts sourcing experience for a car dealership or alternate parts provider, a large fleet maintenance function or another insurer
  • Experience providing a quality experience for the customer, first time, every time
  • A disposition that values individual differences and invites participation while working with others
