Optimisation Lead - Motor Claims (Recoveries & Settlements)

As the Optimisation Lead, you will work across Recoveries & Settlements within Motor Claims to understand and stream-line processes, to optimize efficiencies, reduce costs and enhance customer outcomes, all while engaging stakeholders at across internal multi-disciplinary teams.
This role is hands-on and influential. You'll analyse the 'as-is,' and build the 'to-be,' and guide implementation through strong collaboration, change leadership and data-driven insights to influence operational and business efficiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end optimisation initiatives across motor recoveries & settlements, from process mapping to implementation.
- Partner closely with Ops Leaders, Data, CI, Automation (RPA) and project teams to drive measurable change.
- Identify bottlenecks, cost impacts and customer feedback, recommending pragmatic, scalable solutions and efficiencies.
- Create and present business cases and presentations and prioritise proposals to senior leaders.
- Champion accountability, speed, and clarity by embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
- Experience in process optimisation, change, BA, CI or operational or transformational excellence, ideally within insurance, financial services or other regulated environments.
- Proven ability to influence, simplify complexity and gain buy-in across multiple business units.
- Strong data and analytical mindset, with the ability to link processes to cost, value and performance.
- Confidence in building business cases, storytelling with data and presenting to senior stakeholders.
