Our client is entering a significant growth phase, underpinned by strong foundations and an established client base. Today they are seeking to appoint a National Growth Manager - Waste & Environmental Services.
 
Importantly, this is not a role where you are competing in a highly saturated market. You are stepping into an opportunity to build, influence and shape outcomes, both commercially and strategically, within a business that has genuine momentum.
 
This is a strategic, enterprise-focused role - not a transactional sales position. You will be responsible for securing large-scale, multi-site, long-term contracts, while playing a key role in defining and driving the organisation's future growth trajectory.

The Opportunity:
 
This role has been created to drive enterprise-level contract acquisition across government, infrastructure, and major industry.
 
You will focus on high-value opportunities, including multi-site service agreements, long-term contracts, and complex tenders - not small, transactional work.
 
Success in this role will see you building and converting a $10M-$20M+ pipeline, delivering $5M-$8M+ annual revenue through a small number of high-impact deals.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:

• E nterprise Contract Acquisition- Identify, pursue and secure large-scale contracts across :      
     o Government (local, state, federal)
     o Councils and utilities
     o Construction, mining, manufacturing and infrastructure
• Target multi-site, multi-year agreements(3–5+ years)
• Contribute to the development of compelling commercial proposals and submissions (RFP / RFQ)
Strategic Pipeline Developmen t
Solution-Led Selling- Design and position integrated service solutions across:      
      o Hazardous waste
      o Liquid waste
      o Environmental services - Aligning solutions to client operational and compliance needs
Stakeholder Engagement- Build long-term, trusted relationships across enterprise clients
Internal Collaboration- Work closely with operations and account teams to transition and scale contracts , identifying opportunities within existing clients to expand services

What You'll Bring:

Enterprise Sales Capability
• Identify and deliver new logos (70%) and farm existing accounts (30%) which will include converting some relationship led arrangements into commercial contracts
• Proven experience securing large, complex contracts (ideally $1M+)
• Experience managing long sales cycles (6-18+ months)
• Strong pipeline discipline and forecasting capability

Tender & Procurement Experience

• Demonstrated success working within formal procurement environments
• Experience with government, councils, or regulated industries highly regarded

Industry Alignment
• Background in waste, environmental services, industrial services, utilities, or adjacent sectors OR
• Experience selling into similar client groups (construction, mining, infrastructure, hospitality chains, government)

Commercial & Strategic Mindset
• Ability to identify and convert high-value, long-term opportunities
• Strong commercial acumen and deal structuring capability

Relationship & Influence
• A proven history of success engaging with enterprise stakeholders at multiple levels of the organisation
• Strong credibility, professionalism, and integrity
