We are thrilled to partner with our Client who is the fastest growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia.  Due to significant growth we are seeking trade qualified Panel Beaters/Spray Painters and/or experienced Motor Assessors to join their business. This is also a great opportunity if you are an Estimator on the smash repair side with quoting experience looking to get off the tools as they provide full training.  

After an 8 week training program, you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs, while ensuring the best outcome for the customer and balancing the needs of the business.  To achieve this, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with repairers, parts suppliers and other industry bodies as well as internal stakeholders within the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-road and on-site vehicle damage assessments
  • Use your panel beating / spray painting experience to evaluate repair scope
  • Prepare quotes and estimates using insurer systems
  • Liaise with repairers, customers, suppliers and internal teams
  • Support claims resolution with technical trade accuracy
Candidate Requirements: 
  • Trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting
  • Minimum 3–5 years workshop experience
  • Solid quoting / estimating experience
  • Strong communication & negotiation skills
  • Driver licence (essential)
  • Competent computer skills - training provided on industry specific platforms
  • A current and unrestricted driver’s licence
