They are now seeking a hands-on, proactive HR Generalist
to partner with the CEO and leadership team in driving the People & Culture agenda across a dynamic operational workforce.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for the full HR lifecycle — from recruitment and onbaording through to strategy and day-to-day delivery. This is a pivotal role for an experienced HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and meaningful impact across both corporate and field-based teams.
You’ll shape and implement HR frameworks, policies and culture initiatives that align with business goals, operational compliance, and a workforce dedicated to safety, sustainability, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and deliver people strategies that support business growth, culture and compliance.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for both operational and corporate roles, ensuring a great candidate and onboarding experience.
- Support leaders in workforce planning, performance management, learning & development, and succession planning.
- Provide trusted advice across employee relations, investigations, disciplinary matters and compliance with Fair Work, Awards and WHS frameworks.
- Set up and maintain HR policy and systems, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Drive engagement and capability initiatives — fostering teamwork, leadership growth and continuous improvement across all levels.
- 3-5+ years’ generalist HR experience, ideally in an industrial, environmental, logistics or services setting.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, NES, Awards, WHS and employee relations.
- Proven experience in recruitment and workforce planning for multi-site or operational teams.
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills across all levels, including executive leaders.
- A proactive, commercially minded and hands-on approach — equally comfortable in the boardroom or on-site.
