No Customers. No Travel. Just High-Level Expertise.

We are thrilled to partner with our Client who is the fastest growing major Motor and Home insurer in Australia.  We are looking for seasoned Motor Assessors who are looking to step up into a more specialised, focused role—without the hassle of customer conflict or site visits...

This is your opportunity to join an elite internal team dedicated to Fair & Reasonable (F&R) Motor Assessing, where your deep technical expertise will drive commercial decisions—not just claim approvals.

About the Role
We’re building a high-performance team of motor professionals to lead the industry in post-repair third-party assessment. You'll be working behind the scenes, conducting desktop assessments on invoices submitted by other insurers, reviewing completed repair work where our member was at fault. No chasing workshops. No frustrated customers. Just high-level, technical, and financially strategic work from a centralised location.
You’ll be the gatekeeper ensuring we only pay what’s fair and reasonable.

Why This Role is Different
  • No on-road travel – You’ll assess remotely from the office or from home.
  • No direct customer interactions – All assessments are post-repair and B2B.
  • Elevated expertise – Apply your panel, mechanical, and quoting knowledge to ensure commercial integrity.
  • Join an elite team – Work alongside the industry’s best in a role focused on depth, detail, and impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conduct accurate desktop assessments on third-party repair claims
  • Review and validate post-repair costs across various damage levels
  • Ensure repair methods align with OEM standards and insurer expectations
  • Deliver fair and commercially sound outcomes through precise quote reviews
  • Collaborate closely with internal Settlements and Recoveries teams to challenge excessive charges
  • Use Solera and middleware quoting tools to generate technically detailed reports
  • Operate within a compliance-conscious, best-practice framework
What You Bring
  • A trade background (Panel Beating, Spray Painting, Mechanical) or Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing
  • At least 5 years of repair industry experience AND 5+ years assessing in insurance
  • Strong command of Solera software and digital quoting systems
  • A high level of professional integrity and sound judgement on repair value
  • An understanding of compliance under the Financial Services Regulation (FSR) framework
What’s in It for You?
  • Competitive salary+ performance bonuses
  • Additional leave options (purchase extra days, paid 'ME' day, parental leave)
  • Learning & development tailored to your career goals
  • Holistic wellbeing support: health resources, mental health services, fitness perks
  • Regular staff events, family fun days, and an inclusive team culture
  • Exclusive retail, hospitality & insurance discounts via Rewards Gateway
  • Recognition programs that truly value your contribution
