We are now seeking a polished and highly capable Food and Beverage Manager to lead all front-of-house hospitality operations. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role requiring presence, finesse and a deep understanding of refined service delivery. The right person will likely come from a five-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment. Prior experience in a private club is not essential.
The Role
As Food and Beverage Manager, you will be entrusted with the oversight of all dining, lounge, concierge and event services throughout the Club. This is a visible, hands-on role where you will model exemplary service standards, manage the day-to-day operations, develop your team, and work closely with the General Manager to drive performance and innovation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring consistent, high-calibre member service across all food and beverage settings
• Leading and mentoring supervisors and frontline service staff
• Managing staffing levels, rosters, training, systems and service flow
• Overseeing budgets, reporting, stock control and financial performance
• Contributing to strategic planning and enhancing member engagement and utilisation
• Upholding the Club’s values through professional presentation, discretion and hospitality
- Senior experience in food and beverage leadership within a five-star hotel or equivalent environment
• Proven ability to lead, develop and retain high-performing teams
• Strong financial acumen and operational planning capability
• A natural presence on the floor, coupled with the ability to inspire and model excellence
• Discretion, maturity and a highly developed sense of service
• A personal commitment to quality, detail and continuous improvement
• A genuine interest in contributing to a prestigious institution with a strong service culture
