- Lead and deliver the preschool program aligned to EYLF and NQS
- Be a hands-on leader on the floor alongside an established team of educators
- Build strong relationships with children, families and the local community
- Support inclusion for children with diverse needs through thoughtful practice and team coaching
- Use OWNA (or similar) for programming, documentation and family communication
- Work closely with the Director to strengthen quality, culture and continuous improvement
- Bachelor of Early Childhood (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Strong experience in early childhood teaching
- Confidence leading a room/program and guiding educators in day-to-day practice
- Strong knowledge of child development and preschool programming
- A collaborative leadership style and calm, clear communication
- A genuine commitment to child safety, quality practice and continuous improvement
- Current (or willingness to obtain): First Aid (E&C), WWCC, and relevant registrations
