Based full time onsite in their North Lakes, QLD offices you will manage the end-to-end assessment of allocated insurance claims, focusing on cause, scope, costs, and the best approach for property restoration.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct desktop assessments of insured properties using virtual assessing
- Produce detailed reports, determine cause, coverage, damage, and best repair methods.
- Review scope of works and provide reports to ensure the most cost effective and timely methods of repairs.
- Communicate the extent of damage and repair schedules with customers
- Liaise with local authorities and third-party building surveyors regarding compliance issues and ensure repairs comply with relevant BCA and/or Australian standards.
- Exposure to estimation/quotes/scope of works within the insurance and/or building industry.
- Competent with computer software systems
- Ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders, including vulnerable customers, builders, and suppliers.
- Background in producing accurate scope of works
