Our client is a leading insurer with an enviable reputation in the industry. Due to growth, they are looking to appoint a new team member to their call centre team. This permanent role, with plenty of opportunity for career advancement, is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door to the booming financial services industry. In addition to market leading training, you will have the opportunity to gain your RG146 qualification, all paid for, in your first 12 months of employment as well as enjoy a hybrid working model working 2 days from home after the initial training period.
  
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Be the first point of contact for clients who are seeking information, updating their policies or wanting product advice. This role is low volume and high service, no call time pressure.
  • Engage in active listening to understand the needs of customers to ensure you provide excellent service.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a client-focused attitude to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely outcomes
  • Ensure all relevant legislation is complied with taking corrective action if gaps or weaknesses are detected.
  • Delivery of reports and feedback on service standards and adherence
What you will bring to this role:
  • No insurance experience is necessary as full market leading training is provided. Bring your customer service experience gained in either call centre, retail, hospitality or administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A friendly, professional phone manner
  • The ability to learn new processes and systems and apply this knowledge
  • Good computer literacy
  • The ability to collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
