In this role, you’ll go beyond reporting the numbers, you’ll uncover the story they tell. By analysing trends, identifying cost, quality, and productivity drivers, and highlighting opportunities for improvement, you’ll provide the insight and influence that helps leaders make confident, data-informed decisions.
You’ll act as the bridge between data, finance, and operations, translating complex information into meaningful insights, clear recommendations, and practical action. Success will come from your ability to combine analytical rigour with commercial acumen, and to engage stakeholders at all levels through problem-solving, influencing, and storytelling.

What Your Key Responsibilities will include

  • Interpreting and analysing performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, collaborating with key stakeholders to design best in class solutions, and turning those solutions into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Preparing high-quality business papers and presentations that influence decision-making at senior leadership and executive forums.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Data to design business cases and improvement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Supporting project planning with robust resourcing, cost forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Driving delivery against divisional scorecard targets through timely reporting, insights, and updates.
  • Leveraging tools such as Power BI and Excel to produce accurate, impactful analysis and reporting.
  • Contributing to capability reviews, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement, including training and process enhancement recommendations.
What you will bring to the role
  • A curious, proactive mindset:  you dig deeper, ask questions, and translate complexity into clarity.
  • Experience managing communication well, never operating in isolation, collaborating with key stakeholders throughout the journey to ensure you are identifying best in class and fit for purpose solutions
  •  Business performance partnering experience, ideally 4+ years (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, confident engaging with senior leaders and exec teams.
  • Analytical capability, able to interpret trends, hypothesize, test, and deliver practical recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, skilled at simplifying complex data into clear messages and business cases.
  • Technical toolkit, strong Excel and reporting skills; working knowledge of Power BI (can be taught if needed).
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is beneficial but not essential.

What’s in it For you?
  • This is a high-profile role with significant executive leadership exposure – it provides you with the opportunity to work closely with executive leaders, presenting directly into decision-making forums.
  • Demonstrated career development; multiple previous team members have been promoted into senior management roles.
  • Impactful work, contribute to real business improvement initiatives in a regulated, evolving industry.
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture, with a strong focus on outcomes and professional growth.
Success in This Role Looks Like
  • Delivering measurable business improvements within  12 months.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across this complex business.
  • Turning complex data and problems into simple, actionable recommendations.
  •  Supporting divisional targets through timely, insightful reporting and analysis.
This is a standout opportunity for a Business Performance Lead who thrives on curiosity, problem-solving, and turning numbers into meaningful outcomes. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders to design evidence-based recommendations that enhance customer experience and optimise resources. With skilled data specialists at your side, you’ll focus on analysis, collaboration, and driving automation where it adds value - delivering genuine business process improvements. If you’re proactive, inquisitive, and passionate about using data and insight to create real impact, excited about an opportunity to play a key role in the development of their Centre of Excellence, then we want to hear from you!
