We are thrilled to partner with a leading international manufacturer and supplier of innovative building and construction materials to expand their footprint in the Australian market.  

With a strong global footprint across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and North America, (1500 FTE) this organisation brings a trusted product portfolio spanning insulation, HVAC components, tapes, rubber products, and ventilation systems.

As part of its strategic growth in the region, they are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead market entry, build brand presence, and drive revenue across commercial and industrial construction sectors.

About the Role

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a market launch, backed by the resources and reputation of a globally established business. You’ll be responsible for new business development, relationship management, and introducing premium products to distributors, contractors, and project decision-makers across Australia.  This will be a working from home opportunity with State and International travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, secure and develop new customers within the HVAC, construction, and building materials markets
  • Grow sales through both direct and channel relationships (distributors, contractors, consultants)
  • Lead the introduction of internationally proven products to new clients and project sites
  • Represent the brand at industry events, client meetings, and trade exhibitions
  • Report on pipeline, sales activity, and market trends to senior management
  • Work collaboratively with global teams to ensure effective localisation of products and messaging
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Ideally an existing network of Clients from the HVAC/MEP industry with an understanding of HVAC system design and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, products, and market channels is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in B2B and project based business development within the HVAC, building products, or construction materials sectors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and develop a market from the ground up
  • Commercial acumen and ability to manage technical sales processes and project-based customers
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience building long-term client relationships
  • Experience launching new products or brands into Australia is a plus
