- Our client is undertaking significant procurement activity in support of major Transformation initiatives, including transaction‑related work.
- Additional specialist capacity is required to support detailed contract review and analysis across a large and diverse contract base.
- Contract Business Analyst with strong procurement and sourcing experience to support an active procurement workstream.
- Focused on contract analysis, data extraction, and commercial insight, rather than process design or system implementation.
- Hands‑on role working closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Transformation stakeholders.
- Review and analyse a wide range of supplier contracts across the Group.
- Extract and document key contractual information, including:
- Contract end and renewal dates
- Notice periods
- Early termination provisions and penalties
- Change‑of‑control, novation, and assignment clauses
- Key commercial and service dependencies
- Assess contracts for relevance to current procurement and transformation activity.
- Identify contractual risks, constraints, and timing considerations that may impact delivery.
- Support the development of clear summaries and views to inform:
- Sequencing and scheduling decisions
- Financial exposure and cost implications
- Vendor engagement and transition planning
- Work with Procurement and Legal to clarify contract interpretations where required.
- Maintain accurate, structured documentation to support executive and program reporting.
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst or commercial analyst within procurement or sourcing environments.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and analysing commercial contracts(not just procurement processes).
- Familiarity with:
- Termination and exit clauses
- Commercial risk and penalty structures
- Contract lifecycle and renewal management
- Experience working in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments (e.g. transformation programs, large organisations).
- Ability to work at pace and manage ambiguity.
- Experience supporting transformation, separation, or transaction‑related procurement activity.
- Exposure to regulated or large corporate environments.
- Experience working alongside Legal and Finance teams on contract interpretation.
- Strong Excel and documentation skills (contract registers, summaries, analysis outputs).
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Commercially astute and pragmatic.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently with limited direction.
