This is a commercial field sales role, not an operational or “on-the-tools” position. 

You will work with a  globally recognised premium brand, engaging commercial end users to demonstrate, educate and influence the adoption of high-performance equipment solutions. 
Operating across Perth and regional WA, you will partner with councils, contractors, facilities teams and commercial organisations, delivering structured product demonstrations while building pipeline and supporting revenue growth. 
This role is best suited to someone who already brings foundational sales experience and is looking to further develop their career in a hands-on, customer-facing commercial environment, and offers a clear pathway into Account Management or Business Development.

What This Role Involves:  
This is a  hybrid of field sales and technical demonstration, where success is driven by your ability to:
  • Engage customers in a professional, consultative sales approach 
  • Deliver structured demonstrations that educate, influence and convert 
  • Build relationships with commercial end users and stakeholders 
  • Identify opportunities and develop a sustainable territory pipeline 
  • Work alongside dealers to support conversion from demonstration to sale 
You are not just demonstrating equipment - you are  shaping buying decisions and driving commercial outcomes

Key Responsibilities:  
  • Develop and manage a defined WA territory 
  • Identify and engage commercial end users across multiple sectors 
  • Deliver professional, structured product demonstrations 
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities 
  • Influence customer decision-making through education and insight 
  • Partner with dealers to convert opportunities into sales 
  • Maintain strong follow-up, reporting and territory discipline 
  • Travel across metro and regional WA as required 
What You Will Bring:  
  • Minimum 2+ years’ sales experience (essential) 
  • Confidence engaging commercial customers and stakeholders 
  • Ability to deliver clear, structured product demonstrations 
  • Strong communication and influencing capability 
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on outcomes and conversion 
  • Self-driven approach to territory development and pipeline building 
  • Strong organisation and time management skills 
  • Current driver’s licence 
  
Industry experience is not limited to outdoor power equipment  - our client would also welcome candidates from broader technical, equipment or commercial product environments. 
  
Ideal Backgrounds:  
We are prioritising candidates with  commercial and demonstration-led experience, including: 
  • Technical or equipment sales roles 
  • Product demonstration or specialist sales positions 
  • Trade, industrial or capital equipment environments 
  • Roles adjacent to Business Development or Account Management 
(Industry sectors such as construction, facilities, industrial or similar are relevant- landscaping backgrounds are not required.)
