Our insurance clinet based in Eight Mile Plains are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the HRIS & Payroll transformation program, working directly under the Senior Project Manager. This role requires a specialist BA who has built their career delivering HR system implementations.

We're specifically looking for a highly experienced Senior BA with a strong track record delivering HRIS and Payroll transformations. Experience in areas such as requirements elicitation, current and future-state process design, payroll compliance and award interpretation, HR and payroll integrations, stakeholder facilitation, market engagement (RFI/RFP), and supporting solution assessment activities will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Senior PM  on the project and partner closely with HR, Payroll, Technology and project stakeholders as we continue progressing discovery and future delivery planning activities for the HRIS & Payroll Project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering and documentation for HRIS replacement
  • Facilitate workshops across HR and business stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into functional and system requirements
  • Support vendor selection process
  • Assist with solution evaluation and gap analysis
  • Drive process mapping and future-state design
  • Support implementation, testing, and deployment phases
Key Requirements
  • 12-18month FTC
  • Strong experience as a Senior BA on HRIS implementations
  • Deep understanding of HR processes and systems
  • Proven ability to operate across full project lifecycle
  • Experience working with vendors and technical teams
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability
Working Arrangements
  • Location: Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane
  • Hybrid: 4 days onsite / 1 day WFH after probationary period
Reporting Line
  • Reports to: Senior Project Manager (HRIS Program)
  • Key stakeholders: HR, IT, Vendors, PMO
Personal Attributes
  • Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Commercially astute and pragmatic.
  • Confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working independently with limited direction.
