They are seeking an experienced leader to step into the role of Motor Assessing Manager – Quality and Standards, leading a national team responsible for driving consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement in motor assessing practices.
Based ideally in Melbourne (or Sydney or Brisbane), this is a critical role that combines operational oversight, people leadership, and technical acumen.

About the Role
As the Motor Assessing Manager – Quality and Standards, you’ll lead a team of assessors across multiple locations and work closely with senior stakeholders to uphold best-in-class repair methodology, auditing frameworks, and leakage management practices.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a strategic leadership role combining operational delivery, coaching and capability building, and business planning.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing national team (10 reports)
  • Drive consistency in assessing standards and performance KPIs across sites
  • Oversee the implementation of auditing strategies and quality assurance systems
  • Manage relationships across departments to align people, systems, and processes
  • Influence repair methods, leakage metrics, and compliance best practice
  • Champion continuous improvement in technical quality and team capability
  • Support strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory alignment
  • Travel as required nationally to support local teams and conduct site audits
What You Bring to the Role
  • Trade qualification in Panel beating, Spray painting, Mechanics, or Cert IV in Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing
  • Proven leadership ability is key to this position.
  • Diploma of Quality Auditing (BSB50920) or willingness to attain would be a bonus.
  • Experience overseeing multi-site operations and quality improvement initiatives
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and quote systems
  • Calm, professional and collaborative leadership style
