A dynamic industrial services organisation in growth is seeking an experienced Finance Director
to lead the corporate finance team. This role will balance long term strategic planning and hands on financial management to ensure profitability and compliance while acting as a trusted advisor to the Executive through an exciting phase of growth, process improvement and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the financial strategy of the company
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and transaction integrity
- Manage and improve internal controls, policies, and risk governance
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and tax obligations
- Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and performance analysis
- Support business transformation, capital projects, and funding proposals
- Monitor and enhance financial efficiency of service delivery.
- Lead cost tracking initiatives and improvements
- Provide executive team with insights and financial modelling for decision support
What You’ll Bring
- CA/CPA qualification with strong technical accounting knowledge
- Demonstrated experience managing the finance function in small to medium organisations in an asset heavy industry, example logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, lead and retain a high performing team
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across varied functions
- Strong commercial acumen, detail orientation and ability to deliver on deadlines
- Drive to add value by improving current systems and play a key role in the process improvement journey
- The ability to balance multiple priorities and manage change in a fast-paced environment
- Expert skill level in Excel and strong general systems knowledge including business intelligence tools.
