Today they are looking to appoint an experienced Finance and Administration Manager (Financial Accountant) to play a pivotal role in their Queensland operations.

This is an opportunity to be more than Qlds’ finance leader, you’ll be the trusted running partner to the QLD General Manager, driving the business forward with precision, insight and control.

Your key responsibilities will include:  
  • Proactively leading the branch-based finance, customer service and administration teams
  • Lead coach and mentor your team to drive change and proactively support the development of a high-performance culture
  • Own the integrity of financial reporting across the QLD business, ensuring complete, accurate and timely reports that support both day-to-day operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the General Manager QLD as a key financial strategic advisor - facilitating detailed financial reviews, uncovering performance insights, and ensuring alignment to corporate objectives.
  • Lead deep-dive financial and operational analyses, ensuring contract compliance, process adherence and effective use of corporate systems.
  • Champion a standardised approach to financial and administrative processes across business units, reducing complexity and enabling scale.
  • Drive transformational change, supporting the transition from legacy systems and siloed processes to streamlined, future-ready platforms.
  • Retain a keen focus on the CX
  • Leverage off your Xero knowledge to support best in class financial reporting and analysis
  • Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team across finance, administration, and customer service, building capability and embedding a performance-focused culture.
What you will bring to the role:
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or a related field; CPA/CA accreditation would be highly regarded  
  • 5+ years’ experience leading finance and administration within a complex or logistically intensive environment.
  • Demonstrated budget and P&L management (circa $20m), including forecasting
  • Demonstrated financial accounting/reporting expertise (Xero)
  • A proven ability to drive reporting accuracy, lead audits, and translate numbers into actionable business strategies.
  • Demonstrated change management experience – ideally encompassing process improvement and standardization
  • Hands-on project management
  • A highly collaborative leadership style, and one where you genuinely enjoy coaching, mentoring and empowering your people
  • Demonstrated proactive and strategic leadership experience
  • Demonstrated high level of customer centricity
  • Experience leading or contributing to business transformation initiatives, especially around systems implementation and process optimisation.
  • Strong financial acumen, resilience under pressure, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
