Events Executive
Key Role within One of Brisbane’s Most Prestigious Private Clubs
The Brisbane Club is seeking an Events Executive
to join its esteemed hospitality team. This position is designed to work alongside and in support of
the Club’s Events Director as well as the Food & Beverage Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to contribute to a rich and sophisticated calendar of Club functions, member events and private bookings, within a setting steeped in history and guided by service excellence. The successful candidate will demonstrate the capacity to manage events autonomously when required, while also playing an integral part in the Food and Beverage team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, service-driven position, responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of Club events, including liaison with members and guests, coordination of interdepartmental logistics, management of vendor and staffing requirements, and on-the-day oversight to ensure excellence at every touchpoint.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Supporting and collaborating with the Events Director to plan and deliver events
- Developing and executing function schedules in alignment with Club standards
- Coordinating logistics across departments including kitchen, service, reception and marketing
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, cost control, and client satisfaction
- Supervising function staff and ensuring appropriate resourcing
- Hosting and liaising with clients and members before, during and after events
- Contributing to post-event review and continuous improvement of Club functions
You are a polished and experienced hospitality professional with a focus on quality, service and discretion. You understand the expectations of an elite member environment and bring a professional presence, attention to detail and team-first attitude.
You will also bring:
- Experience in a similar events role, ideally within a premium venue, private club or 5-star hotel
- Strong communication, liaison and client service skills
- Confidence in managing events independently and collaboratively
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Proficiency in function costing and scheduling
- A current RSA certificate and Food Safety Supervisor certification
- A calm, polished and professional manner under pressure
