Step into a business development role with genuine influence and scope, leading high-value client acquisition and strategic sales across government, infrastructure, and industrial markets – spanning waste, pump servicing, and environmental service lines. 

Your key responsibilities will include:  

  • Identify and win new business across government, construction, and infrastructure sectors 
  • Lead major tender submissions, proposals, and stakeholder engagement strategies 
  • Work across multiple service lines including waste treatment, DG handling, pump services, and site servicing 
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline aligned to strategic growth targets 
  • Attend key industry events and position the company for new sector entry 
  • Collaborate with divisional teams to maximise cross-sell opportunities and account development 
What you will bring to the role  
  • 8+ years of B2B business development experience, ideally in waste, industrial services, environmental services, or civil infrastructure sector 
  • Pipeline development and management expertise 
  • Proven ability to win large tenders and drive strategic sales initiatives 
  • Established networks within government, construction, or industrial sectors 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a consultative sales style 
  • Demonstrated success engaging with C-Suite & executive stakeholders 
  • Experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments and cross-functional teams 
  • A creative and analytical mindset to identify untapped markets and opportunities 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – including confident presentation skills 
  • Preference for being customer facing  
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating across a business to maximise on effectiveness and opportunities
