The Opportunity
As a Category Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of procurement sub-category strategies across the organisation. Working closely with Category Managers and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to sourcing activities, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement transformation, deliver cost efficiencies, and build strong partnerships that support high-quality service delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development and execution of procurement category and sub-category strategies
- Providing expert advice and guidance on procurement and supply chain matters
- Conducting sourcing activities including market scans, EOIs, and supplier evaluations
- Analysing spend data, supply markets, and value chains to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assisting with contract lifecycle management, including negotiation and execution
- Managing supplier performance and supporting strategic supplier relationships
- Identifying and mitigating procurement and supply chain risks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver procurement outcomes aligned with business needs
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and systems
- Preparing reports on supplier performance, compliance, and category outcomes
What You Will Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related discipline
- 5–7 years’ experience in procurement, category management roles
- Experience supporting the development and implementation of category strategies
- Strong commercial acumen with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in supplier management and sourcing activities
- Understanding of risk management and procurement compliance processes
