Allied Health Practice Manager | Hybrid | Purpose-Driven Organisation

Lead operational excellence across a growing allied health service supporting veterans and their families. This is a hybrid role based in Brisbane with a genuine opportunity to improve systems, support teams and help deliver services that make a meaningful difference.

Our client is a well‑established, financially stable not‑for‑profit organisation delivering critical wellbeing and mental health services to the veteran community across Australia. Demand for services continues to grow, and the organisation is investing in strengthening operational capability across its allied health services.

The Allied Health Practice Manager will play a central role in supporting this growth — improving systems, strengthening administration teams and ensuring services run smoothly across multiple locations.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Purpose that genuinely matters – Lead services that directly support veterans and their families.
    • A financially stable not‑for‑profit – Strong funding and continued investment in services and people.
    • Opportunity to improve systems and processes following a major organisational integration.
The Role Based in Brisbane (Stafford), oversees the operational performance of allied health administration across several service locations.

You will work closely with clinical teams, centre managers and senior leaders to ensure services run effectively and that teams have the processes and support they need to succeed.

The role involves supporting a distributed administration team across locations including Brisbane, Ipswich, Sunshine Coast, Townsville and Darwin, with occasional travel required.

A key focus of the role will be bringing structure, clarity and improved processes to a complex operating environment, particularly where teams currently work across multiple systems and platforms.

You will also oversee billing accuracy, utilisation tracking and operational reporting, working closely with clinical leaders to ensure services operate efficiently and sustainably.

What Success Looks Like
  • Creating clearer processes and workflows for administration teams
    • Supporting a stable and high‑performing admin team across multiple locations
    • Improving communication between clinical and operational teams
    • Helping teams navigate system challenges while improvements are implemented
    • Providing strong operational leadership during a period of growth and change
About You

You are a resilient and pragmatic Practice Manager who enjoys solving operational challenges and building strong teams.
You will likely bring experience such as:
• Practice management within allied health, healthcare or community services
• Leading administration teams across multiple locations
• Managing billing, reporting or operational processes within a clinical environment
• Experience working within organisations undergoing change or system transformation
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to remain calm, pragmatic and solutions‑focused in complex environments
Benefits
  • Hybrid working – up to two days working from home
    • Salary packaging to increase take‑home pay
    • Additional gifted leave days each year
    • Strong internal training and development opportunities
    • Genuine work‑life balance (8:30am – 4:30pm)
    • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful community impact
    • Supportive leadership and collaborative culture
    • Occasional travel to other service centres (typically short trips once per quarter)
The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity for a Practice Manager who wants more than just a BAU role. You will join an organisation that is growing, investing in services and committed to improving outcomes for veterans and their families.
If you enjoy bringing order to complexity, supporting teams and making a real difference, we would love to hear from you.
